I am currently working on a research contract with Prof Dame Heather McGregor, Provost of the Heriot-Watt University Dubai, producing the annual GCC Board Gender Index Report and associated content on SDG-5, SDG-8 and women on boards or women in leadership in the Gulf region, particularly the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

I was a senior visiting lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London, for four years until 2023, teaching a highly popular digital marketing module on a media management masters.

I also taught a 2021-22 term at Goldsmiths, University of London, in social media at an undergraduate level.

I have an associate fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

I loved learning so much, I’m now doing a UKRI-funded PhD in AI for digital media inclusion at the University of Surrey, combining my recent work in DEI with my background in media. My focus is AI literacy for 50+ workers.
